PEOPLE LOSE THEIR MINDS OVER MCDONALD'S INSTAGRAM AD
I scrolled past my first 'sponsored' Instagram ad today and boy did it make for an interesting LOL. The advertisement was for super-size, fast food juggernaut McDonald's.
It would come at no surprise to Instagram that people would generally have a resistance to change towards their newly introduced shameless advertising. But surely they could have held back on an advertiser such as McDonald's? At least until the general public eased into the idea a bit more first. In result of this, a large amount of green juice drinking, clean eating, yoga doing and negative nancy peeps are losing their minds. The abusive hashtagging, bad grammar and in-correct spelling via comments are coming in bucket loads. And whilst I personally don't give a damn about the ads themselves, I am thoroughly enjoying the ever so entertaining grilling that come with it.
